Overview

My portfolio brings together projects that reflect curiosity, research, and craft. I focus on framing real problems, uncovering user needs, and translating insights into clear, usable design solutions. Each case study highlights not just outcomes, but the process of getting there, from early exploration to refined prototypes. The throughline is a commitment to designing experiences that feel intentional, practical, and human.

Projects & Case Studies

  • CleanCam

CleanCam is a photo decluttering tool designed to make managing your camera roll intuitive and stress-free. Built around user control rather than coercion, CleanCam combines two simple features: a Least Accessed Folder that surfaces forgotten photos, and a Tinder-style swipe game that makes deciding what to keep or delete easy and even fun. By encouraging intentionality without friction, CleanCam helps people reconnect with their memories, reduce clutter, and avoid the frustration of endless scrolling or storage overload. It’s not about deleting more, but instead it’s about keeping better.

  • Day in NYC

Day in NYC is an interactive map I built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Leaflet.js, pulling data provided by the NYC Open Data API. I designed it around amenities I personally value (bathrooms, cafés, and dog runs) creating a tool that reflected how I move through the city. This project let me experiment with front-end languages and practice turning real-world data into a functional, usable interface.

  • Stooped. (In Progress)

Furniture in New York City often ends up on the curb, even when it’s still usable. We investigated the behaviors and emotions surrounding how people get rid of and acquire home goods during moves, uncovering barriers like transportation, safety, and time as well as the thrill of finding a good piece. By mapping the broader ecosystem of users, communities, services, and institutions, and by speaking directly with movers, givers, and takers, we identified key gaps in the current process. These insights informed the design of a digital platform that makes stooping easier, more intentional, and more community-driven, helping furniture find a new home instead of heading to the landfill.
